I received my product today yes it is in plastic jar, but it arrived very clean and sealed the lid was sealed and it had a seal under the lid. I opened it and it has a very earthy flavor and smell. I personally hate honey this I don't hate, it's not overpoweringly sweet it's not as thick as the honey that I have bought here in the United States or as sweet. It has no bitter taste. It has an earthy taste and I actually like it. The reason I bought it is I'm on semaglutide for weight loss and believe me it makes you very bloated and very gassy, alot of heart burn. makes your stomach uncomfortable almost not worth doing it and I took a teaspoon of this and it feels like the bloating is gone I took it about 15 minutes ago we shall see how long that lasts but I'm already impressed. I like the flavor I would buy this before I bought any other kind of honey for flavoring any desserts or anything for that matter because I do not like the taste of other Honeys at all. I highly recommend this. Ok I had to edit this. It is now 7 hours later and one teaspoon of this got rid of all the part in the expression diarrhea bloating heartburn and belching. I was going to quit the weight loss drug but 1 tsp of this and it fixed it for 7 hours now I'm actually in disbelief. And it's great for your gut Flora which is how it corrected all those problems to begin with. This stuff is unbelievable I will never be without it

I normally do not eat or use honey. Still, I purchased this one after reading about the health benefits of MGOs - like anti-inflammatory properties and restoring your digestive health. I recently used it to stop some seasonal allergy symptoms, and it did the job effectively. I normally get nauseous due to the flavor of honey, but this one is not making me gag. Flavor is not overwhelming either. This honey has a great texture, and the color resembles its purity. The price is competitive, and you get a great value for your money. Loving it and will surely purchase it again.

The best manuka honey in the market, I used to buy it from a store where I live , they were out a couple of times, so am glad I can order here. I ordered last night and it was delivered today.The texture and taste are great.

The manuka honey is a good substitute for an antibiotic, so in a pinch it's available immediately. A convenient and fast alternative.

My husband was recently diagnosed with MRSA, which appeared as a blister/boil on his forearm. Doctors lanced it, drained it, and put him on the proper antibiotic, but it left a deep, open wound on his arm. I mean deep, like it seemed large enough to stick your thumb in! I didn't really know much about MRSA before all this, but I've read everything I could since then. I kept seeing Manuka honey praised for it's healing properties, as well as the fact that it seemed to kill MRSA. Those that had used it, swore by it. Well, now I do too!!! We started applying the honey in my husbands wound on a Friday afternoon. I did this in addition to using Hibiclens. I gloved, cleaned the wound, re-applied the honey, changed the bandages each day. By Monday (3 DAYS!), the wound was almost closed - no kidding! I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. This is one product that I will keep on hand from now on!As an aside - The sad part for me is that the doctors didn't seem overly concerned - kept telling us "MRSA is everywhere now, you can catch it anywhere" .When we would ask about chance of recurrence, or spreading it it others in our household, they basically said, yes, it might happen, might not. They were not being aggressive enough in my opinion in helping us prevent this. No one ever told us about de-colonizing ourselves. In my reading, I saw that the people with the most success in beating this back for good used a combination of Hibiclens wash to shower in for 10 days, disinfecting all towels, bedding, surfaces in home, and of course, the Manuka honey for wound treatment. There is also research that shows the MRSA like to colonize in the nose, so during this same time, you should also apply Bactroban in the nasal cavities each day for up to a month. This is also something that the doctors didn't tell us, or offer. When I asked about getting a prescription, he actually said, "Yes, we could do that to de-colonize the nases"! I mean, if they KNOW this will help prevent the spread and possible re-occurrence, why should I have had to ask about it at all? I swear, I am not a "conspiracy" type person, but it almost made me wonder if they are not all being so lax about this epidemic because of the incomes generated? I am sure, once all is said and done, my husband's insurance will have paid about $3000 for his treatment and follow up visits, as well as the $90 in co-pays we have paid already. What's their motive for trying to prevent this from happening again or from giving it to someone else?Take control of your own treatment plans, be aggressive in treating, and learn all you can about what you're facing. We’d used this brand before, but it was a lower number MGO 263 or something? I’m not claiming any miracles with the MGO 573+ here, but it definitely felt like it helped. The sore throat didn’t drag on as long and it just felt like it soothed things faster. I usually just take a spoon in the morning and one at night. My wife stirs hers into warm water but I’m too lazy for that most days. Not sweet like grocery store honey, kinda earthy maybe? Doesn’t bother me. I also ordered the lozenges so I don’t have to lug the jar to work. Haven’t cracked those open yet but figured why not have them just in case.
