I bought these to replace some misplaced knobs for my frames. Of course, having bought these, I found the older knobs. :)So how do I like these, on using them?The first thing I have noticed is that the nut cylinders strip out of the wood almost immediately. Fortunately, with the help of some medium-small vice grips from Harbor Freight (which I already have) to pull it out of the knob and put it back in and some glue -- I tried Gorilla Glue in the first one and the heavy duty Wood Glue carpenters use in the second one to strip -- so far the only ones I've had to replace in the first set. I just put the glue on a piece of junk paper and used a Q-Tip to swish the glue around thinly in the hole of the knob, and then the vice grips got them back into the wood with no hassle. I let them sit overnight and the next day they held just fine. Better than fine. Perfectly.I have no problem with a product I can fix up to work well, but I know many people don't want to have to expend the effort. To them, if it doesn't work perfectly out of the package, it's not "a good product." So I gave the knobs 4 stars since it works great for me but won't for a non-do-it-yourselfer..

I bought these as replacements for two of the knobs on my ADP floor stitching frame, that had come apart. These fit, and do the job of securing the frame, however they do not match the finish on the frame, or the other knobs on it. Very noticeably lighter in color. I stitch large projects which often take over a year to complete, so my floor frame is in my living room with current project on it all of the time. For what the frame cost, I should not be having to replace knobs after only a few years of use, nor should they not match the finish on the frame. I did try to purchase them directly from the company, but they do not carry them. I love the frame, use it daily and needed the knobs to continue using it, so only took off one star. Time alone will tell if they will last, or if they will come apart as well.

Didn't full cover metal . Will have to handle with care or find something to fit over screw area

I’ve been stitching for 50+ years now and was always annoyed by the wing nuts that come with the scroll frames. These knobs are so nice. No more scratching from wing nuts. Yippee! I ordered 2 sets. Have more than one frame in use at any given time. I will never use wing nuts again! Thanks for a great product. I’m very happy!

Very Good Quality, Very good replacement for missing knob on frames

I love American Dream Products and their accessories. I own so many sizes of scroll rods and side bars to accommodate all my different projects. So buying extra Frame Knobs made sense.
