So the assembly process was easy overall one small thing to mention is that the shelves have these little plastic white things on the bottom that fall out easy, you need them they are to keep the screw in tight when putting the screw into place, you have to line the holes up so that the screw will go into the plastic piece and fit snug. It doesn’t say this anywhere on the instructions probably because they weren’t meant to fall out. At first I was like what are these?! They fell everywhere when I went to take all the stuff out of the box, good thing I didn’t throw them away 😂. On rug the table is a little wobbly so I recommend maybe getting some kind of mat to put it on or some sort of bottom thing that you put under chairs to help you move them without scuffing the floor those might help make it more sturdy. It’s perfect size for what I needed it’s actually smaller in side to side length than I was imagining but that’s better because of the end table I have next to it. Definitely recommend this if you have a small space! More so if you have hard flooring not rug

I absolutely love this desk. It was fairly easy to put together. It is possible to put together on your own. I was able to find a video online but honestly the way she didn't wasn't helpful to me. The only part I struggled with was the holes weren't apparent in the shelves. They were there but covered in paint. Super easy to go through. If you don't see holes just know they are there. I did apparently but them in upside down but it doesn't bother me lol. It's perfect for my bedroom. Looks good. Good size. Got on sale for 26 dollars. If you take the time to properly tighten everything it is very sturdy. I have mine on carpet. It does just fine

I purchased to have a work space for my laptop, external monitor & Mouse. This desk is ideal for just such a Laptop setup in a small space. I Like that the assembly instructions were clear, with just the right balance of text and illustration to be a good assembly guide. A critical aspect of the assembly is making sure the shelves are attached on the correct side, either left or right, that you want. In order to ensure correct placement, you have to be careful to place the three support legs in the correct order to get the shelves on the side you want. The instructions were particularly good at illustrating how to align the three sets of legs in the correct order. The packaging was well done and easy to unpack, although the Styrofoam packing blocks were of low quality and made a shower of Styrofoam particles that required vacuuming after assembly. The packing of the nuts & bolts hardware was very well done with separate plastic bags for each bolt & nut type with a corresponding number that matched where each set was supposed to go in each step of the assembly process. All bolts except those for the selves bolted to tapped nylon nuts which were counter sunk in to their attachment points on the desk. The counter sunk nylon nuts made attaching the screws much easier. The bolts for the shelves, of which there are a total of 8, do not have counter sunk nuts, having only pre-drilled screw holes in the particle board. Screwing directly into particle board almost guarantees that the screws will not hold if they are ever removed, but did thread well when I installed them. Why the manufacturer didn't provide counter sunk nuts for all the bolts is probably a cost savings, but it's a savings that means the desk should not be disassembled once assembled. if you want something that can be broken down when not in use and re-assembled when needed, look elsewhere. All the screw holes lined up perfectly and I had no assembly issues. The instructions indicate that you only need a Philips head screw driver. In fact, a work bench or table is helpful, particularly for installing the shelves and you'll need a small socket driver and a 10mm socket or wrench to tighten up the bolts at the end of the assembly process in addition to the Philips head. The assembled desk is sturdy enough for the use it's designed for, but not for truly heavy objects like a fish aquarium.

If you need functional, inexpensive, and easy then this is your desk!Sturdy, easy to assemble (you need a screw driver and a crescent wrench), compact yet surprisingly functional.This isn’t a large deal my any means, but it’s perfect for my 600 sq ft apartment! I actually thought it was a child’s desk when I was unpacking it.Assembly was quick and painless. I would recommend a crescent wrench to hold the nut used in securing the cross brace to get it nice and tight.Overall, it’s a steal for under $75 and doesn’t look cheap. I’ve seen the reviews about damage on box opening but I bet that was from transporting over a long distance. Mine was perfect. Although the veneer is light in the corners, you can hardly tell once it’s assembled.

The was easy to put together. We needed an end table to fit over a speaker in the living room. Its a perfect fit. It is a desk so I little taller but other than that perfect for our needs and looks good in living room.

Recently purchased this for my home and at first the direction had tons of screw pictures and looking confusing at first but once I began making the desk it seemed to go very nicely. Amazon was very smart to number all the bolts and screws! Very VERY helpful. So far so good. The screw driver that came with it was very helpful! Table top was a bit challenging getting it to line up with the screw but overall it has a NICE weight to it. It is not a cheap feel type of desk as I had thought because of the price.Overall, the dark brown espresso color is very lovely and nice. I ordered another shelf espresso attachment shelves (which is purchases separately) I highly recommend this for the student or small home office person looking for a simple desk, well built, and not hard to build.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this desk. I would have paid a much higher price for it. I also really enjoyed assembling it with my young son. That was the perfect first project of this kind for him. I am definitively going to order one for his little sister.Pros:1) easy to assemble (single mom and her 10 years old could make it!)2) sturdy3) good look4)compact but cleaverly designed so you still have all the space you need.cons:1) the shipping was slow but it might be due to COVID.Take home message: A great enhancement to a young boy room if you want to avoid a crowded room (see the pic)If this review was helpful, thanks for clicking helpful :)

This simple desk is perfect for a smaller space. It was fairly easy to put together and seems sturdy. Perfect for a gaming laptop, mouse and a few other things. Two handy shelves. The metal parts of the desk give it extra support. I would totally recommend this for a smaller space. My son loves it!
