We'll see....
I got this for my new Makita metal cutting saw. (LC1230) It took a while to pull the trigger as the price seems a little high for what it is, but in the end I felt if would be a benefit to the saw. I had to drill and tap a couple holes in the fence, but the installation was easy enough. Because metal cutting blades are so expensive, I felt the benefit of using a v-block to orient the work piece for the most efficient way of cutting would in the end pay off in longer blade life. You can us wood blocks placed behind the work piece (as illustrated in the manual) in order to minimize blade wear, but I'd rather not hassle with that. Based on my test cut, I like it and think it will make using my saw easier and perhaps with better results. Knocked off one star because of price.

Works well, one of them should be wider though for angled cuts
They're pretty well made pieces of steel. If all you're doing is square 90 degree cuts they work perfectly.Unfortunately, if you're doing anything at an angle, the one block isn't wide enough to cover the entire back jaw of the vise, so you only get about an inch of overlap between the jaws at 45 degrees, which is obviously not enough to cut safely. Fine to just leave the back block off I guess but if I'm doing square tube at a 90 degree cut, but rotated 45 like they suggest, I have to put the back block back on to hold it securely. I find that a little annoying, but not a deal breaker.

A little expensive but worth it.
I am using them on a Ironton 14" dry cut saw. You have to drill the plates you are attaching to bit doesn't take long and remember to compensate for the 45 degree angle clearance between these blocks and the blade. Not difficult at all to allow for but if you do it when you are tired it is easy to overlook it. The factory vice plates were easily deflecting and these significantly improve that issue. The v groove helps a great deal with square tubing.

Absolute Necessity, Better Than Others
I am in love with my Morse CSM14MB Dry-Cut saw, and I love these jaws too. I ordered the jaws preemptively, knowing I'd have some piping or tubing to cut at some point and these jaws would hold it well. They're solid machined steel, nice and heavy feeling. Not too much more to say besides, you need this if you buy the Dry-Cut!EDIT:An additional note: the whole clamping mechanism of the Morse saw, with these, is unlike what I'd seen on other dry and abrasive metal saws. Very hardy, doesn't loosen unless you want it to. The saw was made in Thailand, I don't know about these, but I think Morse did their homework and got a somewhat decent manufacturer over there. If you're concerned about clamping, go with the Morse.

You will not be disappointed. They are machined out of solid steel
I consider these a "must have" for a dry-cut saw. You will not be disappointed. They are machined out of solid steel. It is surprising to me that MK Morse is the only saw manufacturer that offers a V-block clamp accessory. They could easily be ahead of the competition by offering a cheap sheet metal V-block accessory....but instead they did it right by offering ones made of machined solid steel. These reduce chatter and can easily extend the life of your $150-$250 blade, or in my case, would've prevented me from trashing one of my $200 blades when a round item slipped because I didn't have them.

A great add on for the MK Morse 14" Metal Devil dry cutting saw.
Works great on my MK Morse 14" Metal Devil dry cutting saw. Very high quality and precise machining. Lets me hold the odd pieces so they cut more efficiently. Google and look for the video on "youtube how to cut with the MK Morse 14" Metal Devil metal cutting" saw. They have a great 17 minute video on on how to get the best performance and longest blade life out of their saw.

Nice upgrade to metal cutting saws.
Fit my Slugger (Fein) metal cutting perfectly. Helps to secure material for safer and longer blade life.

Good quality
I'd have rated a 5 but I had to dress a couple of the edges. Good quality and packaging fit my fei. I wish one was longer the fence side is too short so I have to tak it off on angled cuts.
