This Aluminum Raspberry Pi 3 Case from Mechatronics Art is a high quality, small form factor aluminum case designed for performance and comfort. The case cools down the Raspberry Pi 3 CPU and USB chip thanks to its aluminum construction and thermal pads. The case is acting as a passive heat sink that improves the single board computer performances. The Case is equipped with an aluminum reset button and has easy SD card access. It has embedded holes to mount the Raspberry Pi camera on the back. The case also gives complete access to the connectors on the board: a cap on the top of the case can be set opened or closed to give access to the GPIO ports, and it also have specific openings for the CSI and DSI connectors. This product comes in various colors: natural aluminum, ocean blue, red, yellow gold, black. Just pick the one you love best! The kit comes with hardware required for installation: thermal pads, bottom rubber pads, installation screws, Hex key, camera mounting screws and assembly guide!

The best case I have used
The machining of this case is very high quality and it has a solid build when fully assembled with the pi inside. Everything with this case works as described, only shortcoming is actually on the pi itself since it doesn't have the header for the reset button on it by default, however it is included with the case and needs to be soldered on. The only downside to this case itself would have to be the cost of it, however that is forgivable given the robust and solid case.

Best Enclosure with Passive Heat Dissipation for Raspberry Pi 3 B & 3B+
The best Pi 3B/3B+ enclosure there is. The case is shipped from Canada but only takes a few days to make it to the U.S. Email support response was fast and helpful. The fit and finish is top notch. It takes a little effort to fit the Pi in, but the result is just fantastic. This is probably as good as it can get for passive heat dissipation following one of the the best methods in the industry. For this one (my second), I put in a 3B+, it needs a bit of tweak (as instructed on the FAQ section of Mechatronics Art) of the /etc/rc.local file (by adding a line at the bottom) to make the button to work. For my first one (with 3B), the reboot button is almost a plug and play (once a simple soldering job is done). For any plain-vanilla use cases of RPis, I have decided to make Mechatronics Art my go to case. Please note that I my use cases do not require onboard WiFi and Bluetooth. Thus, I cannot comment on them. However, Mechatronics Art's website discussed this matter with data supporting their claim. You might want to review that before your purchase.Anyway, this enclosure is not cheap, but it's worth it especially if you are looking for a well-thought-out design, superbly executed, robustly integrated with the board and rugged case for RPis. And the all metal (no plastic) construct is a big PLUS for the environment!Note: I have no association with Mechatronics Art and paid in full for both cases that I bought via Amazon.

High-end case. The highest quality Raspberry Pi case you can get.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Company that manufactures this case is small, new, and very personable and helpful. I was able to connect with a french-Canadian via telephone at 6 p.m. on a Sunday. He recognized me from an email I sent the previous day. We have about the same time zones. I was missing a screw and having trouble with a connector. He promised to send me the parts and fix the problem and also exchange photos and videos with me.
